Het Sunstar Family Hotel Davos Sunstar is de zuster van het nabijgelegen hotel Sunstar Parkhotel Davos. Je kunt gebruik maken van alle faciliteiten van beide hotels.
The Sunstar Family Hotel Davos*** was built in 1969 and was the first hotel of Sunstar. It is right beside the Sunstar Parkhotel. Half-board restaurant and bar. Standard rooms and south-facing rooms with balcony (Superior). The rooms with connecting doors, or the rooms in the corners, are ideal for families. Supervised children's club (4 to 11 years) during the season. The indoor pool and sauna are perfect for relaxing.
Omdat de skibus vlak bij het hotel stopt, bent je zo weer terug bij het hotel na een dagje skiën. Het gezellige centrum van Davos, waar je terecht kunt voor een leuke avond met het hele gezin, ligt letterlijk om de hoek. Wanneer de kinderen op bed liggen, kunt je ervoor kiezen nog even lekker te ontspannen in de sauna of het verwarmde binnenzwembad.

Davos heeft een typische flair; sympathiek, sportief en een beetje elitair, maar niet overdreven. Je vindt er dametjes met mooie kapsels en chique kleding maar ook hard core snowboarders die deelnemen aan een wedstrijd van wereld klasse. Davos heeft een aanbod van ontelbare boutiques, cafés en verschillende topsportevenementen die het hele jaar door de kalender vullen. Het skigebied is een waar paradijs voor de off-piste skiërs.
Het skigebied van Davos vormt samen met Klosters een fantastisch skiparadijs dat bestaat uit de gedeeltes Parsenn-Gotschna, Jacobshorn, Rinerhorn, Pischa en Madrisa. De grote publiekstrekker is het gebied Parsenn-Gotschna. Dit gebied, met 108 kilometer aan pistes, ligt rond de Weissfluhjoch. Hiervandaan leiden heerlijke lange afdalingen van elk niveau naar het dal. Snowboarders en freestylers ontmoeten elkaar vooral in het Sunrise funpark op de Jacobshorn en freeriders geven de voorkeur aan Pischa. Tevens zijn er gevarieerde loipes en wandelpaden.
